PropertyLens CEO Bob Frady Named a 2026 Making Waves Award Honoree for Industry Thought Leadership

Bob Frady, CEO and Co-Founder of PropertyLens, has been recognized by InsurTech America as a 2026 Making Waves Award honoree in the Industry Thought Leader category. The awards were presented at the InsurTech America Symposium in Hartford, Connecticut on April 13 and 14, 2026.

The Making Waves Awards recognize individuals across the insurance ecosystem who are driving meaningful progress through innovation, leadership, and bold thinking. Frady was honored in the Industry Thought Leader category alongside Amber Wuollet of Cowbell and Awais Farooq of Venbrook.

"The insurance industry does not need incremental change. It needs disruption, speed, and people willing to challenge everything we have accepted for decades," said Stacey Brown, President of InsurTech America. "The Making Waves Awards recognize the builders, operators, and thinkers who are actually moving the industry forward. This year's honorees are not simply talking about the future. They are creating it."

The recognition reflects Frady's sustained public work on how property risk is actually understood and priced, and his argument that carriers lose more money to bad property data than to bad luck. That thesis is the foundation of PropertyLens, which gives insurers, MGAs, investors, and inspectors direct access to accurate property intelligence at the address level.

"The people in this industry who move it forward are usually the ones asking uncomfortable questions about data everyone else has stopped questioning," said Frady. "Being recognized alongside this group of honorees matters because it means those questions are landing. The work at PropertyLens has always been about the same thing: give an underwriter the truth about a property before they put money behind it."

PropertyLens carried that thesis into new territory this year, shipping eight new data APIs. They include AI-driven analysis scores that grade the property, the surrounding neighborhood, insurability, roof condition, and environmental hazards. The company also launched a customer self-serve portal, a batch processor for running entire books of addresses at once, a Model Context Protocol server that lets carriers integrate the full data suite in an afternoon, and the AI-powered Property Assistant, which turns an address and a plain-English question into a cited underwriting answer.
